Section 11-3-8.1

Meetings when regular meeting day falls on holiday.

When the regular meeting day of a county commission falls on a legal public holiday, the county commission may meet on any day of the following week instead of on such holiday, provided that at least three days prior notice of the meeting time and place appears in a newspaper having county-wide circulation.
