Section 12-15-14Disregarding, etc., of lawful order of court or interference withcustody of child under jurisdiction of court.
Any person who knowingly and willfully disregards or fails to obeyany lawful order made by the court under the provisions of this chapter orwho knowingly and willfully interferes with the custody of any child underthe jurisdiction of said court shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, uponconviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $500.00 or sentenced to hardlabor for the county for a period not to exceed six months or both. The courtshall, however, have the power to suspend any sentence, remit any fine orplace such person on probation under such orders, directives or conditionsfor his discipline and supervision as the court deems fit.
