Section 12-15-51

Informal adjustment of certain cases prior to filing of petition.

Before a petition alleging delinquency or in need of supervisionis filed, the probation officer or other officer of the court designated byit, subject to its direction, may give counsel and advice to the parties forthe purpose of an informal adjustment pursuant to rules of procedure adoptedby the Supreme Court.
