Section 17-2-5

County boards of education.

At the general election of state and county officers in November, 1978, and biennially thereafter, a member or members of the county board of education shall be elected for a term of six years to succeed those whose term or terms of office shall expire at that time. Each member shall hold office until his successor has been elected and qualified.
