Section 25-10-6

Advisory council.

There is hereby created an advisory council to the department to be composed of representatives of designated small business enterprises to be named as follows: five by the Governor, two each by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives and one by the director of the department to serve ex officio as chairman of the council. The members of the council shall serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for travel and other necessary expenses out of any funds appropriated to the department. The council shall meet at least quarterly or more often when necessary at the call of the chairman in consultation with the director of the department, who shall also serve without additional compensation as executive director of the council.
