Section 30-3-90

(Repealed effective January 1, 2000) Purpose; short title.

The purpose of this article is to provide for the enforcement of support obligations of other jurisdictions by providing a quick and effective procedure for the withholding of income derived in this state and to provide that income withholding be sought in other jurisdictions to enforce the support orders of this state. This article shall be construed liberally to effect that purpose. The article shall be known and may be cited as the Interstate Income Withholding Act.
