Section 34-17A-8Application.(a) Each applicant for licensure as a practicing marriage and family therapist shall submit to the board a completed application on forms prescribed by the board. The completed application shall contain the following information: (1) Satisfactory evidence that the applicant is of good moral character and has not engaged or is not engaged in any practice or conduct that would make the applicant ineligible to receive a license pursuant to Section 34-17A-14. (2) Satisfactory evidence that the applicant meets the education and experience requirements for licensure pursuant to Section 34-17A-9 or Section 34-17A-10. (3) Other information that the board may require. (b) Applicants who apply for licensure on or after July 1, 1998, shall also pass an examination administered and graded by the board.
